Scotfield Stables is at the home of Abigail and Cody Hale. What began as just a two horse hobby farm has transformed into a thriving equestrian center. Abigail has been riding and around horses her entire life. As a youngster she rode American Saddlebreds, her first horse was an Arabian, and she also owned and showed Tennesse Walking Horses and was a two-time TWHBEA Youth Superior Champion. Since the young age of 14, Abigail has trained horses on and off for select clients and herself. In 2019, she trained a mustang for the Extreme Mustang Makeover (and this became the inspiration for the novel "Saving Nevada" by Lori Hayes). She also completed with her mustang in the inaugural International Liberty Horse Association horse show in Lexington, Kentucky and had top two finishes in several classes with her Mustang Pippa. in 2020 she finally made the leap to pursue full-time training and on-boarded her mom, Amanda Henderson in 2021 to help launch the lesson program. Amanda is a certified instructor with TWHBEA. Currently, we have over 20 riding students and 10 boarders and accept 4 horses in full time training monthly. Plans for 2024 include attending several breed shows (Tennessee Walking Horse and Gypsy Vanner) and offering some clinics and camps. See our Facebook page for the most up to date news on shows, clinics, lessons and  camps.
